If it’s determined that BHRT is a good fit for you, we will begin to put a treatment plan together. There are many different ways to administer BHRT, including capsules, patches, creams, suppositories, dissolvable tablets and others. We will choose the best fit for you depending on your symptoms and preferred administration methods.

After a treatment plan is created, our hormone specialists will work directly with your primary care physician or we can refer you to a reputable, local physician who will be able to help you obtain a BHRT prescription.

It’s very important that communication and knowledge are shared between the pharmacist-physician-patient triad to maximize your quality and continuity of care.

Ongoing hormone level monitoring is necessary to ensure you are getting the right doses of bioidentical hormones that your body needs to remain balanced.

During follow-up appointments, we will check in with you about your symptoms, if any new symptoms have arisen and, if necessary, order another saliva test.
